Instructions
I love using burgundy and dark blue together. This color combination always looks regal to me, which is why I titled this ornament “Regal Burgundy”.
The design is simple, but the gold hologram sequins really make this one sparkle.
Pin the ribbon down, dissecting the ball into four equal parts.
Place hanging ribbon and top cap with a corsage pin.
Outline burgundy ribbon with blue sequins.
Next, add a row of gold hologram sequins and then another row of blue to all four sides so that there are three rows of sequins in each quadrant.
Place the bottom cap with a corsage pin.
On two opposite quadrants, add an extra row of gold sequins.
Then, in the same two quadrants, pin down the burgundy flower embellishment inside the last rows of gold, covering the exposed white ball underneath.
Then, paint the exposed foam of the other two quadrants with glitter paint. The glitter used for this ornament is a mixture of “Opal” glitter glue, hologram gold, and hologram blue glitter.
After the glitter dries, pin three 3 mm clear iridescent beads with a gold hologram sequin, using the 3/4 inch pins, to the painted panel as shown in the video.
Lastly, pin 3 mm beads, evenly spaced, on the burgundy ribbon on all four sides. There should be five beads on each side.
